Advance Pilot Training Program

PROGRAM  DESCRIPTION 

 If you want to become a airline pilot, there is no better time than now to begin your advanced flight training at Vancouver Aviation College. 

It’s our pleasure to say our Airline pilot training program structure is developed by the senior airline Captains, our instruction is rooted in the discipline required to turn students into successful airline pilots . 

 

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

Everything in aviation is about preparation. Don’t stop learning. Move to the next level. Make a stronger resume. Receive first-hand airline experience. Familiarize with the Jet environment.

What do you learn in the apt program:

  • Jet airplane operation.
  • Jet airplane SYSs.
  • Crew Resource Management.
  • Principal of decision making at the airline.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • Minimum Language proficiency required(LPR) level 4 
  • Class one aviation medical license.
  • Hold Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • At least 20 hours of instrument flying time experience 
  • High school certificate.

PROGRAM  LENGTH 

  • Dark Cockpit      16 hours Theory + 4 hours flight simulator  ( 1 week ) 
  • Take Off               9 hours Theory + 12 hours flight simulator  ( 2 weeks ) 
  • Emergency          10 hours Theory + 11 hours flight simulator ( 2 weeks )  

COMPLETION REQUIREMENT

Simulator Training: 17 hours Simulator 

Ground Training: 35 hours Theory

COURSE MATERIALS : Aircraft emergency guide line / Instrument Procedures / Human Factors for aviation  / Crew Resource Management /  Boeing 737-800 Operation Manual / VAC notebook
